During COVID 19 it's even more important to look for simple ways to find happiness. From my pocket guide to finding happiness here are 13 Tips. I hope you enjoy them but more importantly I hope you apply them to your life.
Keep your promises to yourself. You are your most important relationship.
Be truthful (Satya) at least with yourself, know what makes you tick, live your life feeding your soul.
Be grateful. Do you have food? Have shelter? Then you are rich by comparison to most of the world. Write five things you are grateful for every day for 30 days. Notice how this changes your perspective.
Keep an open mind. There are other ways of doing the same thing and getting great results, let go of ridged thinking.
Practice Ahimsa to the best of your ability. Ahimsa translates as non-violence. Be gentle, be kind. Cause as little damage in the world as possible.
Exercise, it will release feel good hormones and give you self confidence.
Give back to the world.
Don’t take yourself too seriously.
Give up the illusion of control, you are not in control. Anything could happen anytime.
Thank the universe at the end of the day, no matter what kind of day it is.
Find five things you did well each day and acknowledge them to yourself. You are great.
Don’t nag or criticize your life partner, focus on the positive qualities that drew you to m/her.
Give up on the gossip; it’s harmful to you and to your community.
