Welcome to our website, we honour the journey you are on and hope that if you don't find your answers here that you will reach out to us at sheree@livewithspirit.ca for a private meeting or phone call.
Yoga really is a journey, when I took my first class over 20 years ago, I had no idea that it would change me in just too many ways to write about. I was seeking solace from stress and depression, and one day, a thought popped into my mind to "try yoga." that was before the internet was so available, so I found a class in the Yellow pages and started attending faithfully every Tuesday night, and I was instantly hooked. I honour my first yoga teacher, so many years ago, who inspired me to continue.
Since that first yoga class, I have gone on to study yoga intensively, have taught well over 20,000 hours, and traveled to Thailand to study at a Tantric Yoga School. I continue to deepen my knowledge by studying the sutra's almost every day and taking courses.
I have met many people who inspired me; most of those have been my students. I find the everyday story of people so fascinating. We all have a story and have all pushed through what may have seemed like insurmountable obstacles. For me, I struggled with food, cigarettes, and alcohol in my early years. I have worked through and thrived despite abuse, trauma, and grief.
The decision to be a yoga teacher for me was humbling. I thought to myself, "who am I, such an imperfect person, to offer this gift back." But I have learned that it's through my imperfections and challenges that I have been shown wisdom and compassion, and I bring these qualities to my teaching. In my space, we do not judge, and we do not compare. We accept ourselves as exactly where we are meant to be, and we dig deep to uncover the things that are blocking us from knowing and acting in this manner.
I have a better life than I ever imagined possible and yet still have so far to go, I am perfectly imperfect.
If you would like to study with my team of Yogi's , Yogini's and me, please reach out. Come try a class or let's meet and discuss what brings you to this sacred practice and how we can support you in your journey.
We offer you time with some of the most experienced yoga teachers in the area, many who are living, breathing and teaching yoga day in and day out, trying to make this world a more compassionate place one class at a time.
With Love,
Sheree xo

In Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras the 5 Klesha’s (Mental Afflictions) are noted to be the cause of all suffering.Through my thesis I intend to prove to the reader that if we individually work on how the Klesha’s manifest in our minds/lives, it will affect those around us as we are linked like the waves in the ocean, we may appear separate at times but we are all part of the same whole."
