How to deal with a setback.

Lately, I've had a few training clients return after a brief hiatus due to health issues. They weren't major issues, but they were continuous little things that went wrong, that put a brake on their fitness journey. Sometimes, we get hit with these types of obstacles. They are not life or death, but they're annoying, and they get in the way of our FITNESS.

The way to deal with this is to deal with the obstacles and then get back on track. Don't punish yourself. When you feel well enough, get back to easy or moderate exercise. Your body will tell you when you're ready for more. It's incredible how people punish themselves mentally when they're physically ill.

Stop doing that. !!

What matters more is getting back to the gym or Studio And get started. There's a saying that the top of a mountain is the bottom of the. If you've slid down to the bottom of a mountain and the next mountain looks too big, remember you can reclaim it one step at a time. Don't overthink it; just do it. Don't wait till New Year's. You could be 10 pounds heavier by then, which makes the next mountain even steeper
