| Sandy Cardinal - Yoga Teacher |
I am a RYT200 and certified prenatal yoga teacher. I have been teaching yoga for 3 years and practicing for 6 years. I also have a Bachelor of Applied Science in Food & Nutrition and work full time as a Nutritionist.
I am extremely passionate about eating well and leading an active lifestyle as it helps me to feel happy, healthy and strong! I especially love how the benefits of fitness flow over into every aspect of my life.
In my spare time I enjoy running and have completed 4 marathons, as well as several half marathons and triathlons. I also like to spend my time cooking and experimenting with healthy, new recipes.
I thoroughly enjoy teaching the children's yoga class at Live with Spirit and I feel privileged to be sharing the benefits of yoga with the youngest of our students in hopes of helping them to develop a lifetime of health!

| Tara Green - Yoga, Pilates, Run Club, Spinning Instructor/Team Motivator - Studio/Core Power Advantage |
I have always been active, for as long as I can remember. I come from a family of judokas (cool lingo for people who do judo which is a martial art) which of course I started as soon as I could. I loved it so much; for the strength and power, the courage and the friendships. At the age of 18 I had to officially retire from judo as I was plagued with injuries and had a surgeon threaten me that one more jaw surgery would paralyze my face! A little scary to think of now, and at 18 it petrified me! Having no idea where to go or what to do, I was encouraged by my Mom and Sister to take a yoga class with them. So I took the plunge and signed up with my trusty Mom/Sis duo at my side. One step on the mat and I knew I had found my new home! I was instantly enveloped in a peaceful tranquility I had never experienced before, one that I needed so much more than I could have ever realized. I was amazed at how something so calming could challenge me both physically and mentally. I found myself craving more after every class, so I bought some DVDs to try out. That didn't seem like enough, again I found myself craving more and as luck would have it I was then told about a free class a local store Lululemon was offering. I went to that class faithfully every Sunday, and that's where I met Sheree. Now craving more Sheree as well as the other wonderful teachers she had I signed up for classes at Live With Spirit. Again I had found a new home, one that I frequent now so much so that I refer to myself as their token Squatter. I am truly grateful that I found Live With Spirit and with that have had so many more doors open for me.
In January 2010 I was asked to join and lead the 10k run club at Live With Spirit and was surprised at how much I loved it! Then in June 2010 I finally completed my long journey to become a Yoga Instructor. Craving more and encouraged by Sheree I signed up to get my spin certification which I completed in December of 2010. So 2010 ended up being the year of me, something that I had never done before and I have to say it felt pretty good! 2011 has already come to a great start too! As of February I will be the proud new owner of a Pilates Instructor Certification, another passion of mine! I am continually amazed at the energy of all of the students who walk through those doors, and curious as to where their journey will lead them. Like me, will they expand their horizons, or perhaps leave with a new found confidence that they have never had before, maybe some new wonderful friendships? The possibilities are really endless and I am so excited to watch them all grow as I am!
I love my professional life, I am a teacher of so many of my passions and I am truly grateful to have that. At home, well it's quite blissful as well! I have a wonderful husband who is always supportive of me and my dreams and has planted some ideas for some new dreams to come. I have the most beautiful daughter, both inside and out, who is often referred to as my shadow! My other shadow is my son, a clone of the younger, wilder, trouble making, pre-yoga me but he's just so cute and full of love that I just can't stay mad at him. Plus stories of him usually pop up in the odd class and used as our comic relief, which I believe really is the best medicine! Laughter, oh I could not live without it! And my family, my parents Mike and Darlene, my sister and brother! I also have 2 dogs which I love to walk and cuddle and a devilish cat that I love to torment, we reserve the cuddles for when no one is looking! I love being outdoors, travelling and taking photographs too! And that's me in a nutshell! Looking forward to sharing the studio space with you and watching your journey unfold! |

| Terri Anne Jackson - Pilates Instructor Studio/Core Power Advantage |
Terri has been practicing Pilates for the past four years. In addition to Pilates, she enjoys cycling, swimming, walking, snowboarding, and playing with her Wii Fit. "Pilates has allowed me to gain piece of mind and confidence in myself - both physically and mentally. I enjoy Pilates so much that I've started a club at the elementary school I teach at!"
When she uncovers spare moments, Terri loves to read and travel. Her most recent trip was a family holiday to Europe (with her ten month old son in tow!) Being on her toes balancing life with a one year old and a return to full-time work has curbed the travel plans for the near future... although she feels drawn to the snowy slopes of her native southern Alberta whenever she sees a snowfall. It is her hope to visit Africa in the next five years.
"I am so honoured to be a part of the Live with Spirit family - and I say family without reservation. Live with Spirit is a studio that becomes a part of you. Everyone is friendly, kind, and ready to give anything a go. Whether you are new to something, or a seasoned veteran, you are treated to top-notch classes by the best staff. Sheree has motivated me to become a Pilates instructor - before her I would not have thought something like this possible."

| Dione Christieson-Chapman - Spinning Instructor |
My name is Dione and I am a new member of the Live with Spirit team. I found Live with Spirit in 2009 when my family and I moved to Brooklin and was looking for a challenging power yoga class. I have been practicing yoga for over 10 years and it has been instrumental in helping me minimize and manage the strain other physical activities place on my mind and body.
I stay fit, sane and healthy through a variety of physical activities in the gym and outside whenever possible. I love running, hiking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, but my biggest passion is for mountain biking. In 2011 I am competing in a weekly bike race series, one 8 hour mountain bike race in the spring, and two 24 hour mountain bike races in the summer and fall. If you have an interest in mountain biking but are unsure of where to go or how to get into it, you can join me on the trails anytime from March - December!
I love being a part of this team that shares the common goals of overall wellness, fitness and enjoying the moment. I currently teach spin classes at Live With Spirit on Tuesday nights! |
